Every Friday at 10am, the entire team at West + Main Homes Colorado comes together in a virtual meeting room to learn, share, grow, and connect.

The Executive Team provides updates regarding the state of the local and national Real Estate industry, sometimes there are special industry guests or a panel of agents sharing lessons learned, success stories, or something else that the entire group can benefit from.

West + Main agents are also invited to nominate their favorite non-profit organization. All of the nominees are entered into a drawing, and a winner is randomly drawn at the end of our meeting to receive a $500 donation from West + Main on behalf of the agent who nominated them.

We call it Feel Good Friday!

Who is Judi’s House?

When former NFL quarterback Brian Griese was seven years old, his mother Judi was diagnosed with breast cancer. After she died five years later, Brian found himself at a dangerous time in which his anger and profound sadness were coming out in ways that had the potential to be destructive.

Along Brian’s path to healing, he realized that he wanted to give back to children and teens who were also grieving the loss of a parent, sibling, or other loved one. He and his wife, Dr. Brook Griese, a clinical psychologist specializing in childhood trauma and loss, founded Judi’s House — a safe, comfortable place where children and families could come to receive compassionate support and connection with peers.

Judi’s House is the only free-standing organization in the Metro Denver area devoted solely to supporting grieving children and their families. Since 2002, the behavioral health professionals on staff at Judi’s House have provided free care to more than 10,000 children and caregivers toward our vision that no child should be alone in grief. We believe that investing in these children will help them build resilience and the coping skills they need to adjust to their loss, and handle future challenges.

What is our Mission?

The mission of Judi’s House is to help children and families grieving a death find connection and healing. Our vision is that no child should be alone in grief. We expect to achieve this vision by adhering to three core values: Accountability, Compassion, and Respect.
