The Ski area's COO Summit, a gathering featuring five renowned resorts – Loveland, A-Basin, Copper, Keystone, and Breckenridge – recently set the stage for an exhilarating season ahead. Here's your exclusive preview of what's in store, including fresh offerings and eco-friendly initiatives.
Opening Dates and What's Fresh?
Loveland Ski Area: Brace yourself for Loveland's signature early opening on November 3rd, a treat for avid skiers and snowboarders. With outstanding learning areas and facilities, Loveland promises a fantastic experience for everyone.
Arapahoe Basin (A-Basin): A-Basin, also known as "The Legend," remains a mystery, challenging itself to open before Keystone each year. Beyond the thrill, A-Basin is pioneering sustainability. By 2025, they're going carbon neutral, redefining their commitment to our mountain environment. Plus, expect new lifts and greener terrain in their upcoming master plan revision.
Keystone Resort: Keystone races to open "as early as possible in October," unveiling 550 new acres with the Bergman Bowl lift, set to start operating in mid-December or January. Daredevils, get ready for unexplored territories and unforgettable moments.
Copper Mountain: On November 13th, Copper Mountain's lifts will come to life. This year, their brand-new on mountain dining facility, Aeire, promises exquisite culinary delights and a cozy ambiance, perfect for post-slope relaxation.
Breckenridge Ski Resort: Breckenridge's Peak 8 transformation is a game-changer, introducing the Char 5 high-speed quad for swift mountain access. Coupled with a new learning area, everyone can safely savor the slopes. These exciting features will be ready by November 10th.
